An old couple was stabbed to death with a sharp weapon on Sunday night near the underpass located in Kayamuddinpatti Parsahan village of Azamgarh district of UP. The old couple were sleeping outside the house. When people saw the bloody dead bodies in the morning, there was a stir. There was blood all over the spot. The whole village was horrified by this dreadful incident. The police, who reached the information, took the dead bodies into custody and got involved in the investigation of the case. IG and SP also reached the spot and inquired about the incident.
Vishwanath Sonkar (82), originally a resident of Katghar village under Sidhari police station area, had built a house 12 years ago by taking land in Parsahan village and lived there with his wife Shanichari Devi (80). The three sons of the couple live with their respective families in a house located in Katghar village of Sidhari police station area.
The attackers cut off the palms of both hands
On Sunday night, Vishwanath and his wife Shanichari slept on a cot outside the house. He was murdered by unknown people late at night. The killers attacked both of them on the head, hands and feet with sharp weapons. The attackers had cut off the palms of both the hands of Shanichari.
